Drug dealer arrested in the city

Since its inception, RAB has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law with the aim of maintaining the overall law and order situation of the country. It has been conducting regular operations against all crimes including militants, terrorists, organized criminals, drugs, arms, counterfeit goods, robbers, fraudsters, accused of murder and rape cases.

RAB-10 has continued its vigorous activities with the aim of creating a peaceful environment for the common people by arresting members of various organized and active terrorist forces involved in murder, extortion, theft, robbery and extortion, along with anti-terrorism and anti-narcotics operations.

Dhaka, December 22, 2023 (BASS): The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a notorious drug dealer and armed terrorist from Kadmatoli area of the capital.

This afternoon RAB-10 Deputy Director Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to Bass.

The arrested Md. Monir Hossain (51) is the son of deceased Shahjahan of East Jurain area of the capital.

Based on secret information, a team of RAB-10 arrested him from East Jurain area of Kadmatoli police station at 6:30 pm on Thursday.

RAB seized a pistol, a magazine, two rounds of cartridges, two walkie-talkie wireless sets, two walkie-talkie set chargers, 200 grams of ganja and cash of Tk 57,000 from him.

Legal action has been taken in this regard.
