Chhatra League clashes with quota protesters, condition of 9 people is critical
The condition of nine people who were injured in the clash between Chhatra League and Youth League in Chittagong, demanding reform of quota in government jobs, is critical.

Earlier, this clash lasted for about two and a half hours in Muradpur and Sholshahar areas on Tuesday. Three people including two students were killed in this incident. Hundreds of people, including students, have been treated at various hospitals in the city after being injured in the clash.
Brigadier General Mohammad Taslim Uddin Khan, director of Chamek Hospital, told the media that 77 people, including students, were treated at the hospital. Most of them left the hospital at night after treatment.
He said, ‘Until Wednesday afternoon, 15 people are admitted in the hospital’s ICU, casualty, neurosurgery and orthopedics departments. Two of them are in ICU. Apart from this, the condition of three others admitted to the casualty and neuro surgery department is critical.
He was admitted to the casualty department after being shot. Akash (17) is a teenager. He is a garage worker by profession. Akash was shot in Sholshahar area during the clash between the two sides on Tuesday.
